Ok..... Now i'm going to have on you for this, just for the simple fact that you are not a Rookie.... LOL!!!! Where's the Survey.... Any way.... my pick is [Pee_Can] Andersen.... He's getting more and more comfortable with the Team, NBA, etc.... He has a nice inside game to go along with the outside game, a nice 1 - 2 tandem with Landry and the type of Center that Adelman likes.... Good fine Morey....
Got to give it to the Thunda' from Down Unda' David AndersEn was getting a lot of crap on the BBS but has looked a lot more comfortable in the last 4 games. I think he's surprised many.
Agreed. Landry is the most consistent rocket this season. Consistency is an indicator of star players.
He shouldn't have surprised anyone. His skills were apparent through his seasons and championships in the Euroleagues (or whatever leagues he was in) and his mistakes early on were easily due to his inexperience at the NBA level. He's begun to settle in. I wouldn't call that improvement, I'd call it adjustment. In fact, his 3-pointer is still often short because the Euroleague 3-pointer is slightly closer.
Im sorry but im gonna have to go with Hayes. Im shocked he is making his shots. Unbelievable shots that makes me think damn he is gonna miss. Im shocked his offensive game has somewhat improved
really needs to improve on defense, i think he'll be a good backup for yao, we won't have to automatically go small when yao needs rest now, half the game running the yao inside out game, half running adelman's offense
agreed. i anticipated david getting some votes, especially after last night. but he's a skilled and probably the oldest rookie in the league. he will likely to play an important role for the team. the guy can shoot.
I would have to say Landry or Hayes. Landry has picked up his scoring and he has more moves this season. Hayes is just great overall, he has great steals, defense has always been good, and he can finally make layups now. They are both equally important.
Ariza by far, the guys doubled his scoring average for his career, has still played great defense. Taken the role as a primary go to guy for our team. Although he may not be the most efficient player he will grow from his experience.
I think its terrible that... most people on this forum can probably shoot the ball better than Hayes ever will. He is a good player but man how hard is it to learn?
The OP asked me how has improved the most. DA's first games made him look weak slow and unable to rebound and shoot consistently. I never doubted Morey but if you would have compared any player on this list in preseason to now, who would YOU say has improved more?
I'm going with Hayes, although it was a tough choice between Ariza, Landry and Chuck. Chuck has quadrupled his scoring from 1.3 to 5.9, improved his shooting by 10% from 37% to 47%, ft% from 36 to 46, and almost doubling his rebounds from 3.5 to 6.8 I know these are all basic stats and his PER numbers have always been high, but I see a big difference when Chuck is making his easy layups...
