Houston probably has the most potential of all the teams in the NBA Right Now. Sure we won't be good this season but imagine how good we can be 2 to 3 years from now. We all know about Linsanity but which one of the players can be the next NBA Star? Houston has had a huge line of stars (Yao, Francis, T-Mac, Hakeem, Sampson, Drexler, etc.) but who can be the next star in line?

I really like Donuts and He's my favorite player on the team. I really think that Parsons might be able to reach a high potential with the chemistry he already has with Lin.

Stars are determined by the media so none of the above

Nice. I understand what youre saying but by star i mean like great all-around, high stats in the appropriate ones for the position (Assists for PG, Scoring for SG, SF and Rebounds for PF,C) and a good locker room presence.

Lol if they're determined by the media it's going to be Lin.

I would say Asik, Lin & Lamb. Considering that they signed Lin & Asik to 25 million dollar contracts the Rockets are thinking that they will outplay there contracts likely by the end of year two (Asik will be 28 & Lin 26) so that it proves to be a bargain. Lamb I think can be a star as well his game just translates nicely.

I agree. Asik is very underrated. I can see him averaging 10+ and 10+

I'm starting to like this Persian Rocket.:)
I am assuming you mean all-star and in 2-3 years.
    1. Terrence Jones
    2. Jeremy Lamb
    3.Donatas Motiejunas
    4. Royce White

Sometime in the near future they will be able to re-create the chemistry they had in summer league. When they do.......

I think Terrence Jones has the size, skills, and athleticism to be an above average player on both sides of the court. I think he can be a 20/10 guy eventually. I like Dmo's chances too, but he needs to stay in the gym and add weight.

Interestingly, Jason Friedman says that it looks like Ppatt is clearly the starting 4. If he's clearly doing a better job than Jones & Dmo in practice, Patrick should have a good year because those guys are both talented.

We don't have anyone that I expect to be a certain all-star this year, but we have several guys that will be border-line in my opinion.

If they perform in the playoffs well enough, they are stars..... regardless

Thanks man. I really like polls just because it seems to be the easiest way to see people's thoughts so be expecting a lot of polls from me.

Your comment about what Jason said is correct. Ppatt has been killing it in practice so he will definitely be starting. Parsons was talking about Martin as well so he will also be starting. I doubt he get moved & i doubt they start Lamb over him. Also, the all star games are a popularity contest seeing as how there is a fan vote so Lin will be an all star.

Martin Reportedly has been very active recovering from his injury and trying to come back from his slump last season. I really want to see Martin back to his prime. If he has a good season we could maybe make the playoffs.

I agree with everything but the role player. Ppat has been beasting it up in practices and White has a lot of potential. Besides that good list.

What is a media star? And I would put Jones as All Star Caliber over D-mo. I also think Asik can be a lot better than a super role player, I think he can be a star.
