What's so good about Brunson? His stats are disgusting...

Jay Williams. He's playing in New York with a Basketball City league right now. Didn't his name come up in the last offseason?

The fact the Rockets want to bring in another backup PG tells you all you need to know about what JVG thinks about the newly acquired Gerald Fitch.

Then why didn't we waive Fitch too?

And about JLIII... I don't see anything in this guy.

Agree, JL iii is too small, the positives are not enough to compensate.

JL3 can push the ball like Skip. He's not really a shooter, but then neither is Head. Luther looks worse and worse to me - maybe it's just a rookie wall.

Luther is more effective going to the hole, not that he does it enough but JL iii is just too small to cause any threat at the rim going in.

It sounds like the Rockets and JB came to an agreement. JB wanted to retire last season but elected to come back cause this year looked promising and he was having fun.

But JB isn't having fun this year. I'm sure he was just ready to hang it up if he wasn't going to get any PT...which is wasn't.

I was replying to Deuce who said that JVG thinks lowly of Fitch and my response was that why didn't he get waived too if he was so useless.

You want to keep a full roster for workout purposes. If JB is indifferent about being here why keep him over Fitch if Fitch can at least work hard in 5-on-5 workouts?

I'm sure if they could fill Fitch's spot with an upgrade, they would release him too. But you don't just cut dudes that are under contract just for fun.

I'd take on chance on J Will...why not? Give him til the end of the season, and see what he can do. If he's good, re-sign him. If not, oh well.
