Some have said it is racist to vote against Obama because he's black, while at the same time implying that McCain's age is a perfectly legitimate issue. Can both position be acceptable? neither?
Agreed. Lock it up. BTW, your r****d monkey that typed the poll didn't list my choice to vote against someone because they are old. It listed vote for someone because they are old twice. QFT (Bet that's how you want the ballot to look huh... McCain Obama McCain
Well it is stated somewhere how old one has to be to run for the office so that's really not debatable.
You can vote for whoever you want...thats the beauty of America. Do you think people should not vote for someone because of their age?
as I see it ... rich, white, middle aged men have the political power thus voting for poor, non-white, young/old, or women make sense to me.
You could always just vote for a candidate because you agree with his/her stances on the issues that are most important to you. and you could post commentaries on why you like certain candidates, and why you feel that they are the best candidate for the job.
There are no wrong reasons to vote. There are plenty of wrong reasons not to vote. In America, you can like or hate men, women, white people, black people, any other color people, old people, young people, middle age people, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Pagans, Deists, Agnostics, Atheists, and you can vote that way. You can't create laws against any of that, but you can speak out and/or vote for or against any of it that you feel like. Ain't the democratic process grand?
I actually agree, just don't complain whey your crappy reason gives you crappy gov't. (not directed at you)
