Kelme has discontinued my favorite boot that I've been buying for the last 6 years. I have to find a new type and am having a hard time deciding.

Puma King Exec i FG (I'm leaning towards these)

Puma V1.06 i FG (I like these, but are a bit pricey)

Nike Air Legend FG (I'm not a big fan of Nike, but these seem nice)

Adidas Profi (A classic...love the look, not crazy about the weight)

Kelme Master Infinito (Love Kelme...hate the gold)

    All Day I Dream About S*x. ;)

Seriously, I trust ADIDAS more than any other newcomers to the football world (Nike, etc.). I've had my COPAs for a long time and they've lasted forever... I play HARD in them.

I like Kelme Master Infinito the best. They look COOL.

No more soccer games for me. It was fun watching them. :(

My son just picked up the Adidas F50s but they are heavier than his cleats in the past. And I'm not sure it was the shoe, but he sprang his ankle pretty bad the first time out in them. All-in-all, I'd pick a different shoe for him.

What was wrong with the Pumas? I've never owned a pair. I've always stuck to Adidas & Kelme...at least over the past 15 years or so. You can feel a difference in 11.6 oz vs 9.6 oz. I can't afford to be slower than I already am.

I have the Adidas Copa Mundials, they're ok but nothing fancy. I've been thinking about upgrading to something better though. I'm not that great though so changing shoes isn't going to help a lot.

they seemed to wear out on me much much faster than any adidas i ever owned, especially in the souls and near the toes, my toes would hurt like hell after a game

Speaking of soccer, does anyone know of any quality leagues in Houston or Austin? Not necessarily in quality of play but in organization and field quality.

I'm in Austin for school but will be in Houston for the summer.

Who do you play for? I play Premier O-30 for Anejos International. I also play indoor at soccerzone in Cedar Park.

NEMP sucks. They were fantastic when they opened. The county let them go to crap. Onion Creek are the only decent fields in town.

i unforutnately am in Division 5 for Austin Athletic Club Reserves. it is pretty lackluster competition, but this is the only way my freinds and I could get into the league, i guess well have to work season by season to move up into better divisions.

we have had to play with 8 and 9 men in the last 2 games, it is brutal, so our team isnt very good

how are those indoor leagues? i am interested in some indoor

Do they have all different skill types or is it all pretty much advanced players?

division 1 being hte best through division 5

all kinds of skill sets, from highly competitive in d1 to out of shape and inexperienced players in d5
