I don't think the Spurs can defend the perimeter well enough to be a threat to LA.

In the West, Dallas is the biggest threat.

Even though the Celtics have been crappy, I think that they would have the mental edge in the playoffs...

Cavs because LeBron is better than Kobe.

Post-Trade Mavs are a pretty dangerous team. Though, they are the Mavs, so chances are they won't go all the way.

I'm not convinced that Cleveland will make it past the Magic.

    Obviously the Cavs.

The Thunder should be on this poll, however.

Overwhelming for the Cavs. Lol. I have to agree. Shaq should be staying in shape and his injury might turn out to be a blessing for the Cavs if his finger is fully healed by playoff time. Shaq has to get his 5th ring, he's gotta stay in front of Kobe!

    Cavs

Maybe the Mavs in the West.

Cavs last year would've gotten past Orlando had Lebron just had a little help (his teammates were god awful in that series).

That being said, I have to agree the Orlando is the biggest roadblock to LBJ's first title more than the Lakers, imo.

The Mavs or Thunder in the West and the Cavs in the East.

I didn't even believe the answer I chose.

The Lakers are the only team in the West that can beat the Lakers. Cavs and Magic in the East could do it.

there are only 10 max poll options allowed so i had to choose the best teams that could match up with the lakers well; thunder have never ever being in playoffs, you actually think that they can beat la lakers in a 1st round seven game series, heck they wont even get past utah or phoenix in a 1st round series!!! i think the hakws have a better shot than thunder at beating lakers because of playoff experience and bigger pfs josh smith horford

I'm gonna say Celtics. I don't think they will make it to the finals but their physical play can cause alot of problems for LA.
