Okay, I have a choice between all of these movies. I want to watch only one. Which should I see?

    Pursuit of Happyness
    The Prestige
    Children of Men
    Blood Diamond
    The Fountain
    Babel
    Alfie
    The Terminal
    Pleasantville
    The Majestic

The Prestige, but I haven't seen it. Just going by my degree of intrigue.

Just saw Pursuit of Happyness last night. It was a GREAT movie. Not a dry eye in the theater for about 20 mins straight.

Pursuit of Happyness or The Fountain. Both very underrated movies by the critics.

    Pursuit of Happyness.

But why is it spelled that way?

Babel by far. One of the best films of the year. Those last four films are out on DVD.

have to agree a great movie. the prestige was also really good and a unique story but it became a bit predictable at the end. the terminal is also good.

if u are going to the theaters i would say babel or (from what i heard) pursuit of happyness

Punch Drunk Love is an awesome performance by Sandler that is so far removed from his other roles it's crazy. You keep thinking the whole movie he's going to do something really funny and...nope. Very good movie in my opinion, but very weird too. A lot of people probably thought it was too weird, or just didn't "get" it.

Can I ask what this is for, by the way? Why are some of the movies you list in theaters and others are out on DVD? Planning a date and trying to decide whether or not to stay in?

Oooo, I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. True, the cinematography in "Backdoor Sluts 9" was much better than "Backdoor Sluts 8", but I felt the dialogue was lacking a certain subtext that made the "Backdoor Sluts" series so superior.

Someone start a tip jar so McGrady can watch one more movie. All of these suck, with maybe The Terminal as the exception. :D
