I feel TMAC deal is just the issue of time.Suppose it would be done, considering several players had expressed their interest in Rockets, which player would you like to sign as MLE?
It seems that so many guys here prefer Brent Barry. But did he say anything about Rockets? If so, please forgive my ignorance. Well , it might happen after TMAC come, which I wish too.
He hasn't said anything about the rockets, but this was before T-Mac and the openning of the PG slot for the Rox.
Brent Barry is a shooting guard... They tried him out at PG in Seattle and most agreed that while he was good, his best position was at SG...
Do ya think Kobe would sign for the MLE for the chance to play with Yoa and TMac? My vote is for Damon Jones, albeit not with the whole MLE. BTW, if the Rox can use the TE, that should yield a more interesting roster change than the MLE.
hey - the poll said "other" - we are just listing our preference. Nothing has been said about him coming here or the ROX even liking his game
eh.....for TE, I think there would be more players in the list, and I am afraid it will beyond my limited knowlege on NBA
If CD and company signs Brent Barry, completes the McGrady trade, somehow moves Taylor or uses the TE to get #5 from WAS, then drafts Livingston, geez ... I think CD ought to get GM of the year. Yao/E.Thomas/Laettner Howard/E.Griffin/Spoon JJ/Boki/A.Griffin T-Mac/Gaines/Pike Barry/Lue/Livingston
I think the guys you have listed aren't worth the MLE...others I'd rather have.. Mehmet Okur Stromile Swift Etan Thomas Brent Barry Robert Horry Hedo Turkoglu Carlos Arroyo
Derek Fisher or Brent Barry. To be honest i'd be estatic to get either one. Fisher has played with a big man along with a superstar out on the wing. He can feed the post, is able to hold onto the ball and brings a defensive intensity JVG loves. Barry can lite it up offensively, can't argue with the 45% 3 point field goal percentage, and is tall which also will help him when feeding the post. He's a defensive liabilty though. If i had to go with one, i'd lean Fisher's way
