I still haven't picked that one team to go against this year with this amazing squad. Last year, I personally loved matching up with both the Lakers, Suns, and the Hornets. LA -our streak was 22 -shane battier's defense, buzzer beater -rafer alston (30 pts) -yao and tmac first game Phoenix -Stevie came back -We dominated Steve Nash, and their 2/3 NO -beating them twice (one win by 20 pts) -playing them twice during the streak -quieted them down
Something about playing the Fakers always fires me up. Dates back to the days when Kobe and Shaq were tearing up the league. Hate them Hate them Hate them.
Lakers Rockets always goes down the wire. Might look like a blowout, but whichever of the teams is losing always makes a great comeback. Awesome games, no reason why it'll be different this year.
I want the matchup with Mavs most. reason one:we are in the same division; two: to revenge us for the lose of 05's playoffs; Three: to show who are the real texans.
Bootah Jazz, sorry spell check isn't available on this computer. Well actually it is but I'm too lazy to check it. Well actually I am not lazy I just don't care! Bump Bootah!
This depends more on the fans of the other teams to me. It used to be the Spurs, but now it's the Lakers. The Spurs fans I know and I have a mutual respect for each other and their team. The Laker fans on the other hand are quite arrogant and I would love for the Rockets to be the team to bounce them in the playoffs.
The Lakers are just fun man. We match up well and we've done well against them the past five years. People that voted Jazz must love fugly basketball because that's what it is. Freaking. Ugly. Seriously, they run one play on offense+flopping and on defense they just foul.
I picked the Hornets because most of the pundits have picked them ahead of us in our division...hogwash! And I agree, versus the Lakers, it'll always be a good show.
Either the Celtics or the Lakers. Lakers because they are the reigning WC champs, and our games with them are always fun to watch. Celts because they ARE the champs, and our games with them will be a good gauge of where we are, in terms of competing for the title.
