I used to have a cat. I got rid of it when I learned that they carry toxoplasmosis. But they at least usually poop in one spot...although it's inside. Today my mastiff had projectile diarrhea and painted the inside of his kennel. It smells worse than cat poop, IMO. It's also much bigger, but my kid is in charge of picking it up from the yard .
I just asked my dog. She furiously answered "cat biscuits, Where?" She might have gotten a little confused by your poll
NO! My neighbor has two cats that continue to **** in my kids vegetable garden. The fat bastards dump and kick dirt everywhere. When they hear or see something they run into neighbor's back yard and right through the kitty door. I don't hate cats but this will stop one way or another. Also pissed when people let the dog out and it makes a bee line into my yard just to take a ****.
Dog poo. Its is closer to the size/stench as humans'. Plus you have to clean up after dogs more than cats. For cats, all you have to do is empty a box into a bag once a week and its gone.
Small dogs that are only fed dry dog food ain't to bad. I can only imagine what a 80 pound domestic cat would do. Nasty
You can buy spray to prevent the cats from going into the garden. There are several types. You can also make it yourself. Just pee on the borders of the garden at night. Mark your territory. Show those damn cats who is Alpha in the neighborhood. Apparently, the best Alpha spray you can buy for this task is male Jaguar urine.
I always thought that having a cat is much easier to take care for than having a dog but I was totally wrong in one area. Poop and urine. I mean it's good that your cat can go to the bathroom on its own but the problem is that I'm a clean freak. The problem is that your cat will sometime step on its own poop or urine and step all over the house after it gets out of the litter box. I try to toilet train it with a small hole cut in but I gave up after it start pooping on the washroom floor.
