Zeke. Because he is Zeke. He has made better moves so far. He willalso draw more respect because of his name.
While I wouldn't rate Isiah much higher than 10 out of 30 among GMs, just about anyone beats out the bungling of Layden. Word has it that ownership leaned on him quite a bit to make certain (bad) moves, but his good move to bad move ratio was on the order of 1:4. He really displayed his Utah roots. The Jazz lived in the rare fairyland of having Stockton and Malone for a good 15+ years. But look at their supporting cast and notice how they never produced another All-Star that entire time (Hornacek came after his Suns/Sixers days). Eaton had one single all-star appearance, but was drafted in 82. Jeff Malone? Thurl Baily? Eisley? Blue Edwards? Russell? Anderson? Ostertag? Layden leaves and brings in Eisley and Anderson and overpays them big. He gives that infamous contract to Houston. He drafts and trades Nene Hilario (and Camby) to the Nuggets for finished McDyess. He tries to field a roster purely made up of SGs and undersized PFs. Fun reading. Evan
