If you were to rank tmac and yao among the best players(all 5 positions included) in the nba today, where would you place them? Would they be in the top 10?

    For me:
    1. Kobe
    2. Dirk
    3. Nash
    4. Wade
    5. Lebron
    6. Duncan
    7. Garnett
    8. Yao
    9. Tmac
    10. Iverson

To me, Nash is the best
    Lebron is way overrated
If Koke is No. 1, how come you put TMAC on No. 8?

It's hard to compare players who play different positions one on one, but i dare to say our duo is the best duo in the NBA right now, at least i would take them over any other duo. :p

Why would you rank them before the real games have even started?

Let's observe the playoffs and see who steps up and wills and leads their teams to win

I think Dirk might be ranked a little too high

Lets just say this is base off of regular season, and I think we are the only team that has two superstar thats good enough to both be on the top 10.

They're all a toss-up. You really can't go wrong with five or six of those names. It's a win-win...

Me, personally, I always favor the guys that can 'carry teams' by their lonesome (i.e. without the presence of another superstar on the roster) if absolutely required to do so: AI, Kobe, T-Mac, Lebron, Wade, Duncan, Shaq, and Nash; all those guys have proven that they can do it if they're called to.

your list is kinda bad. dirk has always been outplayed by tmac and kobe and wade and lebron. nash plays no defense.

    1) kobe
    2) duncan
    3) wade

notice how the top 3 have rings and rightfully they should be up there

    4) tmac
    5) lebron
    6) nash
    7) yao
    8) garnett
    9) dirk
    10) iverson

if tmac is not so injury-proned and doesn't have that first round history, he would be top 2-3. i think he will prove that this playoffs.

if yao could play more minutes and play a lil better D, he would be top 5. he will prove that this playoffs.

if i remember and barkely agrees with me, nash plays w/ 2 all-stars, improved player of the yr, 6th man of the yr, coach of the yr. so how is he carrying a damn team?

    For me:
    1. Kobe
    2. Dirk
    3. Yao
    4. Wade
    5. TMac
    6. Nash
    7. Garnett
    8. Arenas / Iverson
    9. LeBron
    10. Duncan

Yao has to be up there, he is consistent, and definitely bounces back from injury fast. BTW- this is not in any way the MVP rankings. Nash is the MVP, i don't care how many time he won it, he is spectacular. he is MOST valuable to his team. Dirk is hardly as valuable. Mavs win without Dirk. Suns are burned without Nash.

Blah, i doubt most of the rockets fan would even put dirk on the top 10. I"m just being alil unbiased. :D Of course, I still hate dirk, but he does prove to be an MVP typish player today.

There are a lot of other excellent players missing from this list too. Carmelo Anthony... Chris Bosh... Jason Kidd...

I agree, Nash is the nucleus of the suns. But kobe, man... He is just in a whole another level in terms of overall player ranking.

They are great, but i wouldn't put them on the top 10 though. Top 15 most likely though.

man he has a great team.

if houston and dallas plays tomorrow, who u think would be the best player in that series? most nonrocket fans would say tmac before dirk. and smart fans would pick yao before dirk.

    so no.
