So a friend and I are taking advantage of cheap offseason flights/hotels etc and heading north east next weekend despite the cold and are trying to decide which city to go to - we've narrowed it to these 3.

I've never been to any of them, so thoughts/advice appreciated. We're putting a premium on getting drunk and having a good time, btw.

I'd go to Norway, which was not an option, but that is only because my great grandmother is Norwegian. Of those three, I would take Iceland because of the Vikings.

I've heard all 3 are awesome, but Sweden; I've never seen so many outstandingly beautiful people in all my life. And they aren't all blond!

why not do more than one. iceland air used to offer free stopovers in reykjavik if you continued on to another euro city a day or two later. check it out. i've never been to scandanavia but if i had to do just one i might pick helsinki. sounds fun at any rate.

Complete aside, Max, but if you're ever in Norway, folx will think you're cool as hell because your given name is "snowboard" in Norwegian.

I would go to Stockholm just to ask someone:
"Did you know your city's name only has 2 vowels and both are O's ???"

it don't matter if it's cold cause you'll be comfortably numb.
I've got a friend over there right now, he says it $12 for four doobies of high test. And he hasn't even tried the shrooms yet.

We are not all blonde, but I would say that we have a higher percentage of blonde people compared o other countries. I have several friends back home that have dark(er) hair and A LOT of girls color their hair darker because they want to stand out and be different than most Swedes. Over all I think most Swedish people have blondish hair and blue/green eyes. If that look floats you boat..you should be in paradise my friend. ;)

So what can you do In Sweden besides looking at beautiful girls all day (and night) ? :p

Although my boyfriend refuses to believe me….we do have the best Pizza in the world. You MUST eat at least ONE pizza while in Sweden. I promise it will be amazingly good!

What are your interests? Night clubs, shopping, nature etc?

Next Weekend, wow. Be prepared for some cold weather!

I just spent 6 months and asia so smaller and darker has become my taste....but I'm pretty sure I'll be able to adjust quickly given adequate resources.....

We'll probably go to museums, etc, whatever during the day,but we probably will spend a lot of time in clubs and bars so advice would be appreciated.
