    SF - Tracy McGrady
    PF - Amare Stoudamire
    C - Yao Ming

Would this front court rank as good as the Dream, Thorpe, Horry front court?
How about the Sampson, Dream, McRay front court? Would they be better than Dream, Barkley, Drexler?

If TMac really is back wouldn't this be a big three that could challange the Boston big three?

If the Suns really want to trade Amare wouldn't Scola, Artest and Head draw some interest?

amare wants his own team; what makes you think he'll be happy here?

but he would fit adelman's offense to a T. he would destroy the high post.

I'm getting tired of these what-if scenarios. We have NOTHING that could help Phoenix. Its not happening.

It all depends on if we are winning.

But where do you think this front court would rank? How prolific would it be?

How good could Aaron Brooks be if he were 6'3 with another 40lbs and still have his speed?

extremely prolific. i mean you can run the low post game with yao. then try the high post game with amare (his mid-range is lethal now). or you can try the tracy iso/pick and roll (amare is also lethal with the pick and roll game unlike yao b/c he's quicker and more explosive).

it's a dream though. but if amare is willing to come here, obviously i'd do the trade. this would easily put us over the top. you're talking about a big man who can shoot the mid-range and finish with explosiveness (he would feed off tracy like he did with nash).

but again, i think amare wants his own team. he even said that last yr.

No way...Amare demands space which is pretty much taken by Yao Ming.

Since none of those guys has won jack, they would have to be behind every threesome you mentioned. In fact if you asked me to name three of the most overrated NBA players in terms of All-star appearances vs. playoff results, T-Mac Yao and Amare would all be up there...

    I agree with t_mac1.

Amare has a lethal mid range game. Plus he has athleticism and can explode to the basket like almost no one. I think you put Rafer and Wafe at the guard positions and bring Brooks, Battier, Barry, Landry and Deke off of the bench.

Until last year you could have said the same thing about Allen, KG and Pierce.

    Who said Landry?

What do you think the Suns could get that would be better than Artest, Scola and Head?

actually he doesn't. his game is PERFECT for what adelman wants to do. you can run the pick and pop with him all day (esp. with tracy running it). or you can let him operate at the high post; his first step will beat every big man out there; or you can post him up when yao isn't there.

if morey could get amare, he should if he still wants adelman to be the coach. if amare was on this team, we wouldn't have problems scoring b/c it'd be hard to double the guy if he was operating at the high post and we don't have to rely on the 3pt shot so much.

I wouldn't want to trade Scola, especially not for Stoudemire. He's talented no doubt but if he can't play with Shaq he won't wanna play with Yao either.

Would the Raptors trade Bosh for Amare? does that really help them? Is Bosh alone better than Artest and Scola?

the raptors said they would trade bosh only for another potential young superstar, and that's amare. it wouldn't help them much, but amare may be extra motivated knowing he's the main guy on that team.

yes, bosh alone is better than artest and scola. he's a superstar.

Artest is still considered a premier defender and Sola is a legit quality power forward. Neither is as good as Bosh but together they make up a lot of quality. Artest's skills has never been questioned and he has been considered a borderline superstar at times during his career. Both Artest and Scola are in their 20's although both are late 20's.

Is Bosh better? Yes. But Scola and Artest are still comparable.
