    Why is Detroit an option?

These teams had the best odds according to Sportsbook.com.

I've never heard Detroit's name ever being mentioned tho. ever.

Weird that sportsbook would think that. There is just no incentive for him to go there, at all.

I remember some Detroit talk in late 2008 before Detroit blew their cap room on Hamilton, Villaneuva, and Gordon, but after that? Nah.

Big market team + willingness to bring in another top tier player to complement = Receiver of Lebron's services.

Which team that is going to be, I do not know. But if the Celtics close this series out next game, I think the distaste of Cleveland's last two years in the playoffs may be enough to launch Lebron out of Cleveland.

I think he'll be back in Cleveland. Hasn't he promised that already?

If anything I think that he would go to New York.

    Definitely the Rockets

I would be very surprised if LeBron leaves Cleveland.

I voted NY. First of all, in Cleveland his teammates and coach are all miles behind him. Second, I believe LeBron feels that he has outgrown the city of Cleveland. Seems like all mega celebrities end up in either LA or NY. Plus I think he has pretty close ties with Jay-Z and other NY personalities.

Game 6 should be telling. Anyone else get the feeling he was trying to dis-endear himself to Cleveland a little bit with game 5?

My response is then why not New Jersey? New York's teammates are even more junk than Cleveland's. New Jersey he can play with Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, and an extremely high lotto pick if not John Wall. And Jay-Z is more of a Nets guy, and let's not forget the crazy Russian dude. I see no reason to take New York over New Jersey.

I've been wondering the same thing, but I am admittedly ignorant on what teams are realistic possibilities for James beyond the obvious choices. I always thought New Jersey was more of a possibility than New York too.

Lebron needs to go somewhere where he is COACHED if he wants to truely win a championship. Mike Brown is the biggest joke as far as NBA coaches are concerned.

Does he even have a play in the playbook, or is it just either Lebron shoot here, or give it to Shaq and get fouled? Maybe he is a wonderful coach and he just has no backbone. Either way you need a real legit coach to win the title. I hate the Celtics but you have to hand it to Doc Rivers... the dude coaches his heart out and has control of his team.

Look at the list of teams that he could potentially go to and see who would be coaching... I do not see a Phil Jackson, Jack Ramsey, or even a Van Gundy waiting for him.

New York - Mike D... really, no explanation needed here... just no D whatsoever.

Cleveland- Same ol Mike Brown nonsense I explained earlier

Chicago- Just fired a young halfway decent coach in Del Negro just because he wanted to win enough to make someone play too many a few more minutes when their foot hurt.

The Nets- hahaha.... ok, actually kind of like Keke but he doesnt want that job nor would the Russian actually keep him.

If the Cavs rally and win this series, I say Cleveland. They lose this series NY but if he wants to win a title ASAP, outside of the Cavs, then Chicago because he could join forces with Rose and Noah to create a dam good team. Miami would be an option but don't know if they have enough to compete after a sign and trade even with Wade and James.

    Frankly I don't care.

Whenever he goes, it is not any ealiser for him to win a ring. This cavs has the best supporting cast than all those teams.

I've been thinking Cleveland this whole time. But, if the Cavs lose in the second round (or even in the next round), I'm really not sure.

Cleveland fans and media need to be careful how they react if the Cavs get eliminated early.

I won't vote until the end of the series against the Celtics. I think his thinking will hinge greatly upon it.

    Chris Broussard says Chicago.

Also says he thinks it will be a 3 team race.

    Chicago
    Cleveland close behind Chicago
    New York

Rumors have it that World Wide Wes and Coach Kal are in cohutes to try and fire Mike Brown and the only way to do that is by LeBron James.

I think that LeBron tanked this game to send a message to management that Mike Brown needs to go and the only way to do that is to lose the series.

It all depends on if Mike Brown stays. If he stays, LeBron is most likely outta there!

Rumors have it that Coach Cal is interested in the Bulls job and if he gets it, he would be followed by LeBron.

On the other hand, if Mike Brown is fired, I can see LeBron staying and being coached by Coach Cal.

Either Chicago or he is staying in Cleveland.
