Barry Bonds is a liability in the OF, the only thing he can do is hit. I don't care for the guy and if Houston was an AL team I wouldn't want him to play for them. Would you want him on your team, trying to bread Hank's record in your teams uni? He should DH, will the Giants let him go next year?
I doubt they let him go. He is still a fan favorite in S.F. and they can look forward to some sellout games when he gets close to the record.
You can't hide a hobbled outfielder, but I guess the ticket sales would enough for the Giants to sacrafice another year with him out there.
Ship him to the Yankees. The most hated player in sports playing on the most hated team in sports alongside other cheaters such as a Giambi and Sheffroids. Its only appropriate.
