Hey everyone, I have been a member for a long time and usually just lurk on the boards without posting so don't bash if this is the wrong forum. Where should I go to watch the game with Rockets fans in Austin? Thanks in advance for any advise.
I think a few people go to Legend's. I typically go to the Posse East. Plucker's or Fast Eddie's (Round Rock) are good, too.
I watched it at the tavern during the first and second championship years. Maybe I'll go back there this year for good luck. ;-)
i always end up going to the warehouse. if its a wednesday night i'll go to the fox and the hound for the cheap dos equis pints...i think they are like 1.25 now. ringers is good too. tons of tvs and cheap pints.
I also went to the Tavern during the championship years - Good Times!!! My group has been going to Legends lately. Might continue there. Looking forward to having the city split again. Back in the day it was Rockets v Spurs (and you know how that one turned out). Getting ready for the bar to be split Rockets v Mavs - although I'm sure there're more Rocks fans here!!! Gonna get rowdy!
I remember meeting up with some BBSers at Aussie's a few years ago... I think it was Baqui99, DVauthrin, RM95, and a few others. Good food/waitresses as I recall...
I've been going to the Tavern for regular season games, and now that stupid college basketball is over with, I sure hope Tavern will give priority to the NBA playoffs now. HOwever, someone with initiative should decide on a decent place for the games, and I'll follow suit.
