lol. The NBA is a marketing machine. Next Christmas they'll be running up and down the court in bell bottom slacks and people will be buying them up.

My theory with the t-shirt jerseys is they want to add more fabric real estate because they are gearing up for hella advertisements a la soccer.

this a dumb theory.. unless they are going nascar style advertising the regular jerseys are fine for ads like the euro league jerseys..

The retail jerseys apparently aren't the same fit/material as the game jerseys. They probably are closer to the nfl jerseys in fit and fabric, haven't seen one in person, but that's my guess.

Get used to it. I bet all jerseys will have sleeves by 2020.

LOL, those jerseys only look good on guys that are fit. Dwight, Lin, and Parsons looked good in them since they're buff/cut. Boris Diaw on the other hand...

My theory is it's because more people would be willing to wear a t-shirt over a traditional jersey so more people would be willing to buy one so eventually the standard uniform will be the t-shirt jersey.

    Dear NBA,

Please please please never never ever again allow sleeved jerseys in an NBA game. They are the ugliest, most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in a sporting event, and should be forever relegated to the trash can of history's worst ideas of all time.

    Thank you.

    Signed,

    NBA Fan
