I went to Live Sports Cafe in Downtown for what I thought was a Clutch City Rockets Viewing Party. My friends were sorely disappointed by the lack of attendance. What the hell? We have been on a Rockets website for a number of years, and y'all can't make it out to a Rocket's Playoff game??? I'm very disappointed in the majority of you. This is the time we should all congregate... As Brethren.. We have a place for this. Man up, gentlemen.
Was the official viewing party there? I don't think this city will get too excited about the playoffs until the next round. Even though they're playing great and we're going up against a Dallas team, you can't blame people for not dropping everything for a first round game when over 50% of the teams in the league are playing.
I believe he is referring more to the Clutch Fans members than actual fans....we had a decent sized crowd for the game...just not many members showed up that's all.
I would've been there if I weren't in New York right now. We'll see you Monday though. Save us the good seats.
and I also will make a attempt to make it out there on Mon....my initial plans were to meet up withsome buds at another place...but that fell thru at the last moment. So I stayed home... But if you guys want to give it a shot Mon....Ill try to make it...but gotta run home as soon as the game is over...got work to do.

The only real Rockets fan are members of this board, save for a few hundred maybe. Everyone else doesn't pay attention, doesn't care that much, and are fairweather. Houston fans, for the most part, suck. They've been missin' out. Whenever I think of bandwagoners jumping on while our teams are doing good, I realize how much sweeter it will be for real fans like me because we follow them through thick and thin. And, I'm trapped in Dallas, so I couldn't make it.
im in austin... BUT i am driving down on thursday for game 3!!! yes...the poor college student managed to scrape up some money and take a day trip to watch the beloved rockets whoop some dallas butt! it is lovely taunting all the dallas folks at UT right now though. feels SOOO GOOD.
Trapped in Dallas?!!! DUDE, do you know how lucky you are to be "trapped" in Dallas? Do you know what I would give to be able to heckle Mavs-fans at work, school, traffic, grocery stores, among other places? You can seize the opportunity and rub it in their faces, make them hate the Rockets even more, and make inflammatory comments about the Mavs that would get me arrested and thrown into jail, where I can taunt my officers, and at the trial I can taunt the judge and the jury

Ha, well I'll most likely wear my Rockets shorts to class on Monday, they stand out a lot, so people will notice and see where it's at. The best part is I had an oral presentation in class on Friday, and I mentioned that the Rockets were going to beat the Mavbricks. It will be great to go back there being right after a great win.
