I just discovered Deep Discount DVD and their prices are a little cheaper than Best Buy along with the free shipping they also offer.

I am looking for even better prices though. The DVD's don't have to be brand new, but they have to be in excellent condition. I've tried Ebay, and while I find some real good deals, most charge too much for shipping and in return try to screw you over.

I am looking for a website with a great selection with cheap prices and cheap/free shipping.

Where do you buy your DVD's online?

I just got my copy of "24: Season 1" shipped to me today from DDD.

I use dvdpricesearch.com to find the cheapest online price of dvd's. Only negative is that it covers a small sampling of online retailers.

I use DeepDiscountDVD quite a bit myself, but I try and limit those purchases to discs I don't mind waiting up to 2 weeks for. They use media mail(which is why they can afford to offer free shipping) so it takes a while for the order to arrive.

Honestly, there isn't one single site these days that offers the best deals. Try DVDPriceSearch.com and see who has the lowest price on the titles you're interested in. Also, a good place to look is the DVD Bargains forum on the DVDTalk message board.

DeepDiscountDVD used to be much faster. They have, apparently, started using a different fulfillment house in recent months and shipments have slowed. Or so I've been told.

Speaking of slow shipments, I hate the way Amazon.com artificially slows their free shipping shipments in order to encourage people to pay for shipping.

I mean, it's one thing to use a slower mail service. I can accept that. But to delay even shipping those orders for at least a week (and sometimes longer) just to inflate the delivery time, seems like a crummy thing to do. Especially when the items in question are listed as "Usually ships in 24 hours". The "usually" is to cover the fact that it "never" ships in 24 hours if you chose the free shipping.

I don't know, that just seems like a crummy way to do business. Advertise free shipping, advertise that the item usually ships in 24 hours but not note that the two things can't go together. You either get free shipping or you get the item shipped in 24 hours.

I use DeepDiscountDVD especially for older dvd's, but their free shipping takes an ice age to get to you. On newer stuff, I'll buy from anywhere. Places like buy.com, amazon.com, or even local circuit city or best buy stores may have the dvd's cheaper.

    www.dvdtalk.com DVD Bargain Forum

    www.dvdcouponpost.com

    www.fatwallet.com

I am all over these places for the best coupons and sales. DVD Talk is the best.

Right now www.overstock.com has a 10% off coupon and 1$ shipping, they are beating Amazon on several DVDs (Matrix Reloaded, Friends Season 5, plus more)

Also I buy a lot from Amazon with Share The Love (it's a 10% off program) and free shipping on orders of 25$. Amazon usually has great prices.

DDD (deep discount) has great prices also and I hear nothing but good things about them. I'm waiting for a good coupon.

I also do Columbia House a bunch, get my DVDs for 7$ or less. ;)

    My DVD's - just crossed over 150!

www.dvdtalk.com has a sweet price search, they use the www.pricegrabber.com engine

    DVD Talk Price Search

Deep Discount has it for $43.91 and free shipping...

Buy.com has it for $39.99 with free shipping.

Yeah, but as DoD said, I placed the order with DDD nearly 2.5 weeks ago... back then, DDD had the lowest price on the DVD.

    Doh! :(

Digital Eyes occasionally has good deals. They had the best price on 24 Season 2 and actually shipped it to me the day before its street date which never sucks.
