I'm getting worried. By now, ZRB would being going nuts. This loss would be like "W" getting re-elected to him.
I was out taking care of business. I just came back to watch this on tape, and I am utterly ashamed of the Rockets. Way to blow what should have been a win. 17 points up in the third quarter, and somehow, they find a way to lose. Pitiful.
Every time Willis took yet another selfish jump hook (only to miss), every time Mooch dribbled out the first 18sec of the shot clock, and every time Allan Houston got a clean look over slow-motion Glen Rice........I cringed in my seat.
Finally, someone speaks out against Willis. This guy is a selfish ballhog who is 10 years out of his prime. This season is a lost cause. The only real thing we can accomplish at this point is the development of our young players, as well as seeing if Langhi and Collier are worth having on our IL.
I don't know how much more stupid basketball I can take. There are limits to my fan-ship. At least when the Rockets were losing in 99-00 and 00-01, the games were entertaining. Now we get nothing but 85-80 games. I am a fan of the Rockets because they have always entertained me. I've always had fun watching them. This season has not been fun. They are not playing enjoyable basketball anymore. It would be fine if they were winning, but they are losing ugly game after ugly game. I suppose the Rockets will beat the Bulls tomorrow. If they're lucky, they may beat the Wizards. However, I doubt they will even approach 100 points in any of them. I miss last season. Despite missing the playoffs, the games were entertaining, and the Rockets were fun to watch. Now they are both boring, and crappy. If this goes on for another two months, I am done. If I'm not having fun with this team anymore, why should I keep caring?
My only hope is that the defensive zone rules are reversed next season. We all know Rudy will go on the next 10yrs w/o adjusting the offense otherwise
