I know he had a meltdown after the first game of the season. Collins has been QB since. So what is the deal with VY? He he now the backup? Injured? Why is he not playing?
VY will get in when the Titans are down big. VY will get to come in, the defense won't have gameplanned, and he will probably lead them back. It will boost his confidence. And next year he should be starting and sucking again.
If you believe this article in the Tennessean, VY has a serious attitude problem that doesn't speak well for his future. Somebody should buy him a pacifier to suck on the sideline. Then he needs a good, swift kick in the behind. http://tennessean.com/article/20081114/COLUMNIST0202/811140384/1002/SPORTS
^ I believe that this is the case; that he cares for the game NONE and that he will self-destruct for being a non-involved quarterback. We have about 40 minutes to go in the JAX-TEN game, but I don't see Mr. Young getting in there. I mean, he's a tough player and all, but he's not such a superstar yet to warrant not studying game film or photos. It just talks suckitude of this guy. Keep watching the game. I'll be interested in what you all want to say about him.
It's all coaching and ego management. Think Barkley. They guy was a superstar when he had coaches who assuaged his ego. I'd still love to have him in a Texans uni.
Vince is on the sidelines, leading his team to 9-0 while sitting on the bench. That's called intangibles.
Hey, if you want a QB who throws just as many picks as the QB's we already have but with less TD's and a lower completion %, be my guest.
Oh come on! Comparing VY to Barkley? When VY proves himself to be a superstar, then fine. But he's a scrub, and a flake at that. Another thing is NFL players don't get pampered like NBA players. It's a completely different world. A prima donna QB who can't throw the ball won't amount to anything. He doesn't need an ego massage, he needs an ego adjustment. Barkley? A better comparison would be Tyrus Thomas.
he was just on the sideline celebrating another collins td. collins is throwing the ball today like he is 25 all over again.
What is up with Kerry Collins? I thought he was too old and washed up. At his age, I wonder if he's going to hit the wall later on in the season.
