I cant remember, but what i can say it that it was totally different than the original story they first reported which made him seem like he was totally dissing Artest off the bat.

That was the original story. I don't know why people think that Yao was dissing Artest. Yao repeatedly said he welcomed talent and welcomed Artest. It was an honest concern about team chemistry, which might not be the most diplomatic thing to say at this time.

The only "dissing" would be the reference about Artest's fight. But who knows. Yao might just be half joking. It's Fran freaking Blinebury who reported it.

They only thought that because BLINDbury reported it that way along with Sam the hippie Amico

Along those lines, some people just want Artest to fail, so they're just waiting to say see we told you nobody likes him.

It is indeed sad that ESPN is trying to escalate this. It's actually pretty crappy journalism, taking things out of context to incite a "feud." Anyone that listened to the interview last night would know that Artest was happy to be a Rocket and wanted to do his best to help the team leaders in Yao and Tracy. If Yao did say those things, they were probably all in light heart, as Yao is that type of guy..
