I went looking for the "I Hate Jeff Van Gundy Fan Club?" thread in order to add the haters to my signature, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know? Does the club still exist? I think that if you hated JVG two weeks ago, some of you still might. yeah, we've been beating up on teams of late, but it's only the preseason. are the haters believers or are they still hating?

Well, the jvg hate group started before we won 4 in a row. I wondered why there'd be a hate group also, because it seemed a bit premature to hate the guy. I feel that we have to at least give JVG a shot before hating him. People seem to have short memories. Last year Yao came in the league and did not play well initially and so many people were calling him a bust. As Rockets fans we should at least give things a fair chance before hating. So far JVG seems to be doing a good job and the team looks great, but it's still not even the regular season.

We are 4-4 which is the best thes rockets have been for the past three years. .500 ball is thye best they have done for the bast 4 yrs. I mean, come on. Once the team has gotten use to the new cooach and new style o9f play I think tghe team has done pretty dang good this preseaon!!! E\ven after a couple of buds...okay more than a couple, the Rockets still loke Dang good! Give them a chance, it is only the Preseason, and yet we a playing .500 ball with a new coach and a new style of offense! Cato rocks at PF!!!!

Its funny how people begin to hate JVG before the rox even played a pre-season game. Then the rox losing 4 strait fueled the hatred more. People came in with so much hope and antehcipation, seeing the rox lose 4 strait just kept adding more fuel. What they failed to realise its only pre-season. Now the rox have won 4 strait coming into the the regular season. Now look what happened, the "i hate JVG" club thread has died. Funny seeing how things work.
Hey, it beats another "Murder Steve and Cuttino Now" thread. We're still several weeks away from those, I guess. I suspect the Ming haters will come out of hiding at some point this season as well. Man, people are moody!
