i love lowry. the trade was good for the future and didn't hurt during the season.

but oh man do we miss rafer now. lakers series = turn overs, broken plays, not controlling tempo.

for all of his faults. rafer would be a BIG help right now. plus it might have been kobe that he smacked in the back of the head.

No, we need either a replacement for Mcgrady or at least a relatively healthy McGrady.

He can set you up. Or you can use his contract to get a "good passing" point guard.

Rafer Alston misses more shots than Brooks, but at least Alston passes it to Yao and Alston was an accurate passer as well.

His shots missed, but whatever he played the PG correct. Lowry is a great player, he just needs to start.

Rafer is in his condo in Orlando, and didn't play tonight because he's an idiot. And his team won by 21.

    end thread.

    Boy, I miss Rafer Alston.

Brooks only has 1 turnover, i'm not sure what rafer could do to keep Yao or scola or Artest from turning it over. Is he going to do it all himself??? The turnovers weren't coming from our PG position and weren't really related to bad control of the offense, it was just not being aware of their surroundings. A laker was too close on most of them and Houston just wasn't aware or tried to force it.

Me too. If we had Rafer I wouldn't be worrying about server crashes and could watch the Lakers-Blazers series comfortably.

    i knew this wouldn't be a popular opinion. :)

i did mention that i love lowry. i will never say it was a bad trade.

but right now we need someone to can get us in our sets fast, control the tempo, and not turn the ball over.

I had a dream last night about Ryan Bowen cheering the team into winning game 2. He had a playoff career high 5 points.

    GO RYBO!

I agree that Rafer was great at those things, but I doubt we would've beaten Portland with Rafer as the starter.

He was suspended tonight for the Magic game, and his team still won. just saying. That's where he was.
