I have not seen Pig Miller in the last 2 games. Neither playing or on the bench. Is he injured?

He is where he belongs, buried on the bench.

He fills a role, but does not deserve minutes over Hakeem or Cato.

    Rocket River,

I have nothing against the Pig. I like what he did, but he is not as good as Dream or Cato, and when healthy. Pig Sits.

The tall enough comment had me laughing.

    Hey Murph,
    What ya talkin' 'bout Willis?

Elie? Chucky Brown? Mad Max? Sleepy Floyd, Carl Herrera? Throw me a bone here.

Which one of them was good and don't give me the Elie hype, he sucked when he was playing here his last year and really hasn't done that much for SA.

    Stevie,

    Mario Elie - 2 Rings
    Chucky Brown - 1 ring
Vernon Maxwell - 1 ring (and several arrests)
    Carl Harrera - 1 ring

And Sleepy Floyd was probably the best out of all the players mentioned above, but without a ring.

By the way you forgot about Avery Johnson who also has a Championship ring.

Actually if you think about it Sean Elliot was a rocket (almost). Hell they should just hang their banner in our building.

Yup, you're right. I guess I can name a lot of other players that had rings that we should bring here.

Jug Bushler, has a few, he must really be a player!

I would also have to put Zen Tabak up there who was the bomb!

Oh, I can't forget Chilly Pete. Every team needs him to succeed.

Just because someone gets a ring doesn't mean they are a great player.

Avery, we should have put him on the low block and try his post up move.

    I don't get it..

I think Pig should see *SOME* minutes
We need his grittiness and Hustle
sometimes Drean and Cato loose the fire.
Need someone to come in and show them how
    it's done. . . . WITH A TOOTHPICK IN HIS
    MOUTH!!

I'm too young to remember much about Sleepy, but Vernon Maxwell was the second most talented player on the team back when we had him. As Keith Jones (the Rocks trainer) noted: He could have been the next Jordan. He had all the athletic ability in the world. He just wasn't committed enough and wasn't in the game night in and night out. (Or something to that effect).

And I believe it too. WHY? Ever notice how we always beat the Bulls when they 3-peated the first time? Vernon was a HUGE part of that. Also, remember the countless falling-out-of-bounds-just-beat-the-buzzer-game-on-the-line shots Vernon made? He was the man when he wanted to. Whenever he played the Spurs especially. Just my opinion though

Ollie, when Vern was climbing stairs and arguing about parking places. He was busy shooting 3's.

He could have it going on, or he could work for Acme that night. A very streaky shooter.

He was a very good defender. Sorry, I don't think he is any better than Walt Williams.

I think we just recently signed him for the remainder of the season. I could be wrong, but I think he deserves to be, he has been
a big part of the little success we have had this season. Between all the injuries to are big men and the 2 sandwiches incident, without PIG we would have really been hurting. I applaud his effort and hardwork.
Hopefully he doesn't end up playing for San Antonio next year like all the other good
    ex-rockets players.
