Hopefully, the Rockets will get rid of Clutch all together when they move into the new arena...

Hey my 2 year old daughter LOVES clutch. :D

Me I don't care too much about him, but he is funny from time to time.

I had an ongoing debate with some friends at the games last year about mini cluch. We couldn't agree if he was a kid or a small person (dwarf/midget). At times he seemed too coordinated for a kid but he was small.

I know my buddy rockHEAD just freakin' loves Clutch and Mini Clutch. Every time they come out he laughs as if it were the first time he's seen them in his life. "Man, I love Clutch", he always says... I stay silent.

I never told ya this buddy rH, but I freakin' think Clutch is dumb!:D
I don't think he's funny nor is he cute enough!
I gave my Clutch Bobblehead away to my nephew but kept the Stevie, Cuttino and Moochie ones!

Turbo, on the other hand, kicks ass!

Miniclutch is actually a "midgit," I met him after one of the rockets games 2 season ago. I then saw him at a high school party later on that year, he went to Elkins.

I dont think clutch is the coolest mascot.
That award would go to the Texans "Toro".
But, all the kids I know and go to the games with love Clutch and Mini Clutch.

    Tim,
    Where is Mini Clutch?

Clutch is considered one of the leagues best.

It's Turbo that, sadly, needs to be put out to pasture.

Yeah, I know the kids love him and as well some adults. or maybe as DAROrockets said, "its better than a gorilla or green chicken".
Then again I thought how much I liked bullwinkle on the way home from work.:D
Clutch works the crowd fer sure.
Maybe I'm just jealous of the cities that have a mascot that actually matches the cities theme or area or you know...
I think one of the better ones is Seattle. I love their Saquatch!!I don't know what this pic is all about, I just found it on the web!:D
Then theres the Dolphin mascot, "T.D."
    Charlette- "Hugo" the Hornet:rolleyes:
Chicago has two- Benny the Bull and "Da Bull":rolleyes:
Orlando Magic - "Stuff" the uh...I'm not sure what the **** Stuff is?!"

or Bucky the Badger from Wisconsin. Looks more like Brock!:D

Can you imagine having Brock as a mascot?

Blasphemy I tell you. Turbo was the only reason I stayed in my seat for some of the games over the last couple of years. He can do it all and his other helpers who pass the ball with him are absolutely incredible. We won championships with Turbo on board, and it was not until Clutch the Bear came around did things change. Maybe the new uni's will change my outlook on our mascot situation, but right now I am only pro-Turbo!

Yeah Turbo is still badass and I too stay in my seat to watch him throw down crazy jams. Dude works hard.
Actually Clutch the Bear came when the uniforms went pajama style. I'll say nothing more.:p :D

Is that a mix between the Ghostbusters marshmellow puff and a tellytubby?

For those wondering, the yellow thing is a banana slug, the UC Santa Cruz mascot.

The reason Clutch was created, I think, is because most NBA teams have a "goofy" mascot that does funny things to get the crowd worked up. Turbo doesn't really do much besides come out and jump on a trampoline. Anybody remember when Turbo was fired back in 1994? Man, people were pissed off...

Oh well, maybe Clutch would look better if he didn't have the dumb looking pinstripes on. :)
