Where is Mike Harris?

    Mike Harris

    After he got cut I assumed he'd catch on with a bad NBA team or return to our D-League team but I haven't heard anything yet. Is he back in China? or just waiting for another shot at the pros?

    Mike Harris is always on Morey's speed dial. Bet you money that he'll be back for the Rockets summer league again.

    I swear Morey uses the guy as practice fodder. I guess Harris can't mind because he might get noticed by the other NBA teams.

    He wasn't on the summer league team this summer.

    However I'm sure morey has him on speed dial and mike is a Houston guy so u kno he will want to come here if there is a roster spot up for grabs.

    I think I read somewhere that he made like $82,000 for a 10-day contract with the Rockets last season.

    Latest news from sohu.com stated that Yao's Shanghai Shark has signed Mike Harris for the coming season.

    My understanding is that something fell thru in China and Harris is looking back at the NBA. I'm not positive, but I think the Vipers have his rights if he plays in the NBADL.

    Mike has a mutual agreement with CheJiang where he would return to CheJiang had him not able to sign with an NBA team this season. However, since Mike was cut, he informed CheJiang that he could not join due to family matters. Eventually CheJiang signed other foreign players. They were shocked when they learned Mike has joined ShangHai and felt deceived. CheJiang filed appeal to the CBA yesterday.
