Where is Larry Bird?

    Larry Bird is the best coach for Rockets now, why not somebody get him?

    I don't think Bird is looking to get back into coaching right now, or you would see his name more in the press.

    Also, seeing as his name is rarely mentioned anymore, that tells you that there are much better candidates than him.

    He got burned out and his back was killing him.

    Larry Bird was an excellent coach.

    Really? i thought he was just a figurehead and all of his assistants did teh coaching....

    i think he did a pretty good job. his assistants were all capable of handlling the team but larry looked as if he knew how to coach....can't say the same thing about isiah thomas though.
