Has anyone seen JVG. He certainly wasn't out there coaching. He got so ****ing schooled out there tonight, it's as if the entire city of Austin fell right on top of his head. Oh how poorly is JVG coaching, let me count the ways.

    1. Not activating Barry or DA, when Baxter hasn't seen a meaningful minute since Stro got suspended.

    2. Sitting back and doing absolutely nothing as Kobe started going nuts all over Wesley in that 3rd quarter.

    3. When we're getting absolutely demolished on the boards, Chuck Hayes sits on the bench twiddling his thumbs.

    4. While pretty much everybody in the league has realized that with the new handcheck rules, nobody can stop quality penetrates one-on-one, JVG continues with these completely ineffectual Pick 'n Rolls that just allow T-mac and Rafer to get trapped.

Lebron, Wade, Kobe, Pierce, Chris Paul, Claxton and numerous others around the league are thriving by getting the ball at the top of the key with everyone cleared out. JVG has yet to capitalize on the new rules at all.

    5. The rockets will continue to get creamed by any team with a perimeter shooting PF. JVG's helping scheme will always leave the PF wide open because Yao is not quick enough to rotate over. If we had one of the Wallaces at center maybe it would work, but we're going on three years with Yao and JVG and you'd think that he'd stop us from getting killed by Boston, Golden State, and Brian Cook. Make a ****ing adjustment man. Go with straight man-to-man so we don't keep giving up open 3 after open 3.

I'm seriously beginning to wonder whether JVG can take us to the next level. And the putridity of the offense at times doesn't help either. Losing sucks, but losing with the most agonizing to watch offense is beyond torture. Can we keep Rick Adelman's number on speed dial. I'd be pretty intrigued with what Yao and T-mac could do in the Princeton offense.

I tend to side with JVG, but this was a fair post. Well said.

I too have always given JVG the benefit of the doubt but tonight's game raised some eyebrows, and not in the good way...I truly believe his act is wearing thin on a lot of the players...

Come to the dark side, we welcome you. The dark side grows stronger.

"Fire Gundy" will return to the Yaosoleum. Burn his effigy in the park. Burn, effigy, Burn! [Bevis] Fire, Fire, Fire! [/Bevis]

Gundy will meet his fate at the end of the rope when the trapdoor snaps, like it allways does. He has tied his own knot. Every coach goes down this way. Pasox2 rubs his hands greedily.

I think Stro's gonna get traded and that has something to do with keeping so many bigs on the roster.

God, I'm so close to the "fire Gundy" bandwagon now. Just thinking about how appropriate Rudy's iso offenses would have been with the rule changes...

you mean PHIL JACKSON using ISO KOBE to torch us??

Rudy could do ISO Tmac and the dump it to Yao strategy.

We're not spreading the floor at all.

I'm normally neutral on the JVG subject, but letting Kobe get hot with one-on-one defense from someone 6 inches shorter, almost ten years older, and 10 times slower. You're asking to get burned, all day.

JVG's had a hard time adjusting all season long. It's unfair because we've been snakebit since day one. We loved his coaching last year. Even in the mavs series his adjustments were on the fly and worked. I don't know why he's being so stagnant this time. He's just letting us get abused sometimes and does nothing about it.

last time we plaed them in LA, wesley guarded kobe then, of course with a second defender always cheating towards kobe, and it worked. why didn't it work this time? what did PJ do differently this time? kobe? JVG?
