It's kinda hard to hide when you're 7'3". Has anybody seen him working out? Where is he and what is he doing?

You would think this bum would like playing time next year with the big leagues instead of the minors.

Yo, go practice, you draft bust!

    Oh, well... :(

Come on fellas, give the guy some time, I am sure he will be back in Houston working out soon, well at least until he gets locked out by the owners, and the season is crushed !

    ;)

Regarding Thabeet, can anyone explain why he was recalled from the Vipers near the beginning of the nbadl playoffs? I know that Cousin was signed and subsequently assigned to RGV, which apparently meant that someone (HT) had to be moved to make room for him, but wouldn't that have been a really good experience for HT? For a young guy who still needs a lot of work and development before he's ready for the NBA, it seems to me that going through the playoffs, even if it is the nbadl, would be very beneficial for his growth. How was he going to get any better riding the bench in H-town when he could have been playing in actual games in RGV? Is he so bad (bad meaning bad not bad meaning good) that Finch couldn't use him? Am I missing something here?

The Vipers were trying to win the championship, so they needed to get rid of Thabeet.

Not true KB. I think Morey thought Rick was going to play the younger guys more minutes because we were out of the playoff race. Rick ignored the hint and now he's gone.

The Vipers were obligated to play him. Every time they did, the team became much worse. They wanted to win the title, and probably would not do it if they had to keep playing Thabeet, who just stood there and took up space.

I watched plenty of Vipers games to know that was the real reason.

He's out with his wingman, Ray Lewis, getting his groove on.

    Haha.

Seriously, Hasheem had a great rep for his work ethic while in college. I guess $5M/year might change someone's motivations.

No way he makes that kind of jack on his next contract (his value is nearly 0 right now).

Hasheem, one of the biggest NBA busts in the last 10 years.

we can't let a guy visit him home country with all the money he's made?

if he's not back in 2 weeks and doing 2 a days with CD and some bigmen coaches then cut his ass

Even in that pick he looks like he doesn't know what he is doing.
