When people who are part of the mainstream mock those that are on the outside and in a great minority, and mock them because of the thing that places them on the outside even though they aren't hurting or threatening anyone, it is amazingly ugly, and resembles bullying. Being part of a larger group that gangs up and mocks those on the outside in the smaller group is weak and a poor choice.
So as long as you are or claim to be part of some minority, you are shielded from any type of criticism and/or humor directed at you. Explains a lot, if that's what you are teaching the kids. No wonder people are looking for "protected" and coddled status one way or another by "identifying" as a protected class.
I am not teaching kids anything about that. I'm trying to get them to understand things like long division, common denominators, and indenting. You are free to keep making fun of and mock people who are outside the mainstream. They aren't protected from it, obviously. However seeing people gang up to mock people because of their choices that aren't harmful or threatening, is just apparent for what it is. It isn't forbidden and nobody is prevented from doing it. It seems to really bother you when people call you out on bullying behaviors. You seem to feel entitled to do it without anyone else commenting on it. In the end you are free to mock others, and those that recognize it's weak and sad, are aloud to call it out. Stop being such a snowflake.
You are free to view it that way. That doesn't bother me. I just think that almost all people can be made fun of (I would stop at making fun of disabled people or of people's race), but I respect your point of view that it can be seen as mean. I personally find it funny when the "security algorithm" proves that objective reality and subjective "identifying as" differ. I can see how some might view me finding that funny as mean.
I understand where the supposed humor comes from. I love making fun of and appreciate making fun of people that are in the mainstream and have the most advantages. It's just a matter of striking up rather than hitting down.
What I am making fun of is not the individual pictured, but the mainstream virtue signaling that tries to dictate that there are 72 genders, and that anyone who doesn't think so is a Nazi. So I don't view it as kicking down. But I can see how it could be perceived that way.
I honestly don't know anything about the whole 72 genders stuff. It's not a top issue I follow that much.
@Os Trigonum @J.R. @AroundTheWorld I mean according to woke law you can identify yourself as anything @ROXRAN @Salvy the spanish word for all of this is Loco
I do wonder what the outcome of all this petty insanity will be, you know... 10-15 years from now when these entitled weirdos start getting bored again once corrupt politicians and the media have given them their entitlement and they no longer have anything to feel persecuted about.
Males - especially white males have an incredible amount of entitlement. They have just decided that they can be women. Not trans-women, but just women...... and those born female that are women? THEY are the exception, they are "cis women". It is amazing to me -
