Where do you draw the line - transgender

The concept of transitioning confuses me because the people talking about it today often don't believe in a binary... so I'm not sure what they are transitioning to and from... real questions come from this... then the idea that some people believe in non-binary as a thing confuses me because I believe in a binary, so they want to police MY language. I find it odd how they think their beliefs are more important than people who believe there are men and women.

I dont get why so many people are offended at what others do, does it really affect you personally? I may not agree with some things, but I am not going to tell someone else how to act or how they parent. I have my own issues without worrying about what my neighbors are doing, I`ll do me and you do you, I dont need the goverment telling me a dam thing, go fix the debt ceiling and stop focusing on the culture wars, it makes you look petty

Can do whatever they want , I actually have no problem with that. I respect their decision thought I do feel for the majority that in fact don’t have legit gender dysphoria—therapy would help

what I have a problem is only when they infringe on others rights

Except that Trans adults are being made an issue. I don’t know much about the Dylan “influencer” that Kid Rock and others are so bothered by but she is an adult and Bud Lite isn’t meant to be sold to minors.

 

This is probably where most of the country falls on the issue.

I'm on board with just about everything except the bathroom part.

It's more awkward IMO to have people whom present as X using Y bathroom, and vice versa.

Showers, yeah that's a bit more complicated, but takin' a dump or a leak doesn't have to be overthought.

 

As an architect nearly all of the projects that I work in we have unisex or gender neutral bathrooms and even in schools and gyms are
Doing private shower stalls instead of the large gang showers.

 

Yeah that seems to be the modern standard.

But most public buildings, especially schools, are old AF and so accommodations are difficult to come by.
