It started off as a joke but I have been collecting our aluminum cans for over 2 years. Originally I told my wife I will collect them and one day I may get 10 or 20 bucks worth and take her to dinner. So for two years when I sort out our recyclables I have kept the cans and put out the newspaper, cardboard and plastic. Now I have a tool shed out back filled with 8 bags of aluminum cans. I need a place to exchange them for money. Does anyone know a place. How much do you get for aluminum?
I don't know where in the SW you are but in Stafford they have one .. It's been there for over 25 years ... It is right next to the Stafford police center or at least near it you can't miss it .. I don't know the exact location but I know it is on 90.
In SW Houston there is one (or at least was one last time I checked) on Bellaire as you are going towards Hillcroft (where Fiesta is). If you are coming from the area where Bellaire is then it will be on your left ... I think there is also a pawn shop next to it...sorry..dont know the exact spot but its there.
