yeah I was thinking thrift store would be the best bet.. but was just wondering if anyone knew where I could just go in and find something for sure instead of digging.. thrift stores tend to be hit or miss when ur looking for something in particular
I just went to Wal-mart the other day and saw some dorky Christmas sweaters in the women's section. The could probably pass for unisex. I frequent thrift stores. They're pretty organized by gender, age, and article of clothing. I'm sure if you asked where the sweaters were, they could direct you. Thrift stores are where you will find the real gems, the ugliest and most unique of the Christmas sweaters.
Last year I came up with a pretty brilliant idea if I may say. I went to the old woman/grandma's section of Macy's. They have a great selection of ugly xmas sweaters. Step 1) pick ugly sweater. Step 2) purchase ugly sweater. Step 3) *Very important* Save receipt in a safe place Step 4) Leave tag on. Step 5) Wear sweater to ugly sweater party Step 6) Return ugly sweater for full refund. Step 7) Thank me later
I went to Value Village once looking for the same thing. HUGE selection. I was overwhelmed. Bought like 3. No digging necessary, they are prepared for the situation. They had a rack just for ugly X-Mas sweaters.
Marshall's. But I like my xmas sweater, it has a flying reindeer. =( Now my aunt, she always wears one with a christmas tree pattern, where the trees actually stick out from the sweater. Ugly sweater.
