i've heard there are some places in and around the Kirby area, but i don't know exactly where. i was hoping there are some doctor/medical types that peruse the Hangout and might let me know where I can find scrubs to wear for tomorrow night. any leads are appreciated. thanks in advance!
Usually sitting on the passengers side of his best friends ride...... Okay, dont ask how I knew that.......mas puto.
I've also seen taco truck style vehicles around the med center that sell them for 10 bucks/piece. I've no idea if that is a good deal, but there's another option.
I know there are a few places in the medical center and there is one across the street from memorial herman southwest
I'm in nursing school, so I have a pretty good idea. Buy them at WalMart for between $12-$20 or any medical supply store for about the same price range. If you want special scrubs with, say, your schools logo embroidered on them, a set will run you $20-$25. They're all comfortable (like wearing PJ's to work), but I like Dickie's brand scrubs the best due to one important factor: pockets. The particular set of scrubs I ordered through OU for my clinicals is lacking in the pockets department, and it irritates me to no end. So. There you go.
Scrubs and Beyond has cheap scrubs for $8 each for the top and bottom. That is their cheapest one. I prefer the Landau scrubs which IIRC are about $15 each for the top and bottom. They are way more comfortable, fit better, and made of better quality material.
I work in the Texas Medical Center on certain days... And next to the elevators 21-27 their is a store with nothing but scrubs, you will definitely find some there. They have all types. Dont know the price but heres the address 6624 Fannin St Houston Tx. 77030 Park in the garage and it like 5 bucks or less for an hour. Go to the garage elevators to the first floor. Exit elevator to your right and make another right. You should be walking along a huge class window that is in between the building and a valet parking/drop off tunnel. Keep walking straight until you see the elevator sign at the top on your right hand sign... Floors 21-27. Go as if you were going towards the elevators and right next to the elevators is the store. Hope you find it!
I kinda get weirded out when I see folks wear these in public. Especially in a dining establishment. Is it sanitary to wear those out after/during work? I guess it would depend on your job.
