Yes i know we did this threat a couple of times before but i was wondering if the Chinees population on this site is bigger then the houston population.
i have made that mistake before. BTW i'm from The Netherlands. Faos, that could be true. I was just wondering if most people who do post here are from Houston, or also from the rest of the USA.
just a question, a lot of people here tend think that American rocket fans are more "genuine" than ones from china, im wondering if Houston fans think they are also more genuine fans than the ones living outside of htown?
Birmingham, AL I'm 32 and my mom still gets pissed at my dad on my birthday for two reasons. 1. My mom and dad's families were both Native Texans from damn near the beginning of Texas. I was born in AL while my folks were doing a contract for their business for 6 months. Both my older and younger brother were born in Houston. My mom says it's not right that I wasn't too. 2. The Alabama / Auburn game was on during the delivery. Both my Dad and the Doctor were watching it. Another interesting tid bit. I was really jaundiced so they put me under the "light". I was born with a full head of jet black hair and I got so dark that African American women kept walking up to the glass and thinking I was their baby. I was born a poor black child.
Houston TX Native. My wife and both of my kids are also. My moms family is from texas since the early 1800's and my dads family is from SC since the mid 1600's
Houston, TX native also. Moved to Dallas in 2001 for my job. It's a getting use to, but I love living in north Dallas. So clean compared to downtown and the airports. Was in Houston most of my life, and the only thing I love and still love are the sports teams. The city sucks.
Grew up in San Francisco, hated the constant raining, moved to San Diego for college and stayed here ever since...btw it's been raining in San Diego
Grew up in Silsbee, TX. About 20 minutes North of Beaumont (which is about 90 minutes East of Houston). Currently living in Houston for college.
Born in Pasadena, TX, currently live in Utah. If there is a Rockets fan who has lived his entire life in... let's say Iowa for example, the odds are VERY high that they are fans of the team because of a player, much like Chinese fans like the Rockets because of Yao Ming. (99.9% of the time) A lot of people were big Hakeem fans, and they just stuck around after he left the team. But yeah, I think it's fair to say that a lot of fans also followed Steve Francis, and now T-Mac. And most people would consider them to be "less pure" unless they stuck with the team after their "player" left, like the Hakeem crowd.
I am sure the mod could fix this. I was born in China but t came to the US when I was 12. Currently in Indiana.
