For years and years, every time that someone makes a movie about the not so distant future, the cities and cars and everything look so dang cool...and then years pass, we come to that time in the movie, and it all still looks crapified!

I say, forget spending money on social services or defense or anything...let's just make our cities and stuff look really awesome! Historical landmarks? NO THANKS! Classic architecture? NOT ANYMORE!

    Some early suggestions for improvement:

    1) Build highways through the downtowns of cities, right above other roads. It'd look wicked cool to be driving high up among skyscrapers.

    2) Add neon lights to the roads. I really think that our roads and freeways need to glow neon green or blue, sometimes even red. (In the dangerous parts of town, of course.) It really adds that futuristic feel, don't you think?

Come on, I know you all have more ideas!

I'm just upset that technology hasn't come up with a legal way for me to sleep with Jennifer Connelly.

Oh yeah! And no more bricks or wood. It's all metal, everything must be shiny shiny metal!

And there needs to be computer touch screens everywhere, for everything. In the bathroom, I don't want a friggin' handle, I want a computer touch screen that only has one button on the monitor that says flush. And then afterwards, I want a voice to tell me "Thank you for using the toilet!"

    That or some damn seashells.

Hmm... then we'll have to do away with concrete altogether. From now on, all construction contracts will go to Nerf.

Someone should post pictures of Dubai on here. That is definitely one city that looks way too futuristic.

That's not stopping the city of Dallas from spending a fortune on "Signature" bridges over the Trinity "River".

Dallas will go to great lengths to continue its denial that there is a crime problem.

Are you trying to tell me that pretty bridges do not reduce crime?
