    I usually never go to these "sales" on Black Friday. I think it's nuts. Most people just end up buying stuff they otherwise wouldn't have gotten anyway and think they "saved". This year, I will be going however. Sears is having 20% off Kenmore product and I need a refrigerator. :)

    Outside of that, I don't see myself braving some of those nutty mall crowds.

    Just bought a 53" HD ready TV - Panasonic PT-53X54 HDMI for $947 plus tax. It's a traditional 16:9 CRT rear projection.

    CompUSA had a 1 day only sale (more like bait & switch since every store only had 1-2 available) for $999.

    I took the ad to Sears and after some wrangling, they matched the price and gave me 10% of the difference ($52).
