where are the bbsers fortune tellers that seem to always know it all??

    Its crunch time now and mysteriously i dont see anyone making any bold statements here about what they think will happen....

    unusual for this bbs..I need some inside tips or someone with the balls to come forward and make a prediction besides the obvious- we need a small forward...a center...

    where are the tired know it

    all of this bbs???
    now is your chance..

    make a name for yourself...I bet none of you revered experts will come up with anything... make your predictions..

    personally I think we can go as far as to gut team except for francis..

    that leaves a #1 pick mobley griffin rice thomas cato etc available...

    my idea leans towards using what I mention to make a trade for a - odom, mcdyess, pull a crazy and get garnett, rashard lewis...

    nothing is crazy anymore and i ( if I were in charge would be willing to pull any sort of crazy..

    i even like the idea of iverson...someone mentioned ..i know that sounds funny but

    maybe #1 and griffin for iverson then trade mobley our other pick and thomas to minnesota for garnett..

    I am just being funky and not necessarily serious..and the sixers wouldnt go for it and none of you but thats my crazy trade to throw out ...I guess what I am saying is with a #1 pick mobley griffin rice thomas cato etc available we have a lot to move here and there and remember 3 and 4 way trades are possible..

    We Will Draft Ming.

    And our first game will be against the Lakers on national television.

    I've lurked here for years, and until recently hadn't registered... I'm making up for it now, I guess, but where's thacabbage, Popeye, Doc Rocket, etc.- give us your take on the earth-shaking event we are blessed with. It's nuts right now, and new people are coming out of the woodwork, so give us some good stuff to munch on (but I'll pass on A.I.,sirhangover... although your right, anything could happen!). Clutch has been coming through, although I wish you'd also give your personal take more often on all the goings on. Hell, Hottoddie, where are you? Give us some groovy trade ideas! Sorry sirhangover, was that all off topic? :)

    prediction - we draft ming and eventually he ends up an all-star.

    we will try to move up from 15 to pick Tsika, will fail and end up with Nachbar.

    I'm curious, but this is too big a decision to be run up the BBS flag pole. I can wait. We need to maintain all the leverage we can.

    If the Rockets draft Ming, our starting line-up is going to be

    PF Griffin
    SF Rice
    C Cato
    SG Mobley
    PG Francis

    The reason I say Cato is that Rudy seems to be hesitant to start rookies if he has somebody to man the same position for awhile. Hopefully Ming will have proven himself enough to start. Then I say use the draft picks and combine them with FAs to shore up the bench, then lets sneak into the playoffs and scare the crap out of people with a 7-5 Center and a dynamic PF, and veteran shooting SF and the most explosive backcourt in the NBA!

    Rockets shock everyone and Draft Dunleavy as the #1 pick.
    Rudy has any input in it Dunleavy is a Rocket.
    Flame all you want but Ming is a political case we do not need regardless of how "wonderful" he is.
