It's getting a bit delayed IMO. It was supposed to be announce this week. All the other awards have already been announced (DPOY, COY, 6thMan, Etc.). Anybody here have any inside information on when the announcement is to come? Thanks guys!

P.S. I sincerely hope KDurant does not win this MVP!

If they are delaying it, it's probably because the winner is still not done with the first round.

    So, it's Kobe, I guess. :p

It's always the last award announced, and they haven't done R.O.Y. yet.

I don't think there is a specific time. You remember when the Rockets were in the Conference Finals against the Spurs and they awarded Robinson the MVP award and Olajuwon went on to kick his a$$?

This isn't late by any means.

they're probably willing to hold it off as long as it keeps motivating lebron and kobe to put up huge performances.

Hahaha Danny granger can't even light a candle to lebron on an off day. Yeah, the MVP is usually announced deeper into the playoffs. Besides, is there really any doubt as to who is going to win this award? I know there were a few proponents for durant earlier in the season, but lebron has this ish on lock.

They quit doing it during the conference finals to avoid having to give an MVP to someone at home.

Guess they should hand it out sooner.

if lebron doesn't win it, then it's a straight up travesty and witchhunt against him bc of the "decision"
