Well I am currently in grade school, High School.

But I have a question, for you older people.

What was your favorite grade? Not like A+ or B- or something like that, I mean like sophomore year or 5th grade or something like that, explain why too.

Senior year definitely. I could basically get away with anything I wanted, sleep all class long and the teachers wouldn't care because they liked me. All the parties and senior activities that go on. Show up late to class and no problem, heck I could even skip class and they wouldn't care. But my teachers liked me so they didn't care. It wasn't the same story with everyone else. :D

lmao. what school did you go to? no offense but let me guess, hisd? its really rare that because a teacher likes a student, the student gets to skip/sleep/not doing anything and not care.....

Wish you had included college. My junior year in college was legendary.

Senior year in high school definitely. I was a big theatre guy, and I got the lead in our UIL play that went to state, and was voted most talented. Top that off with Prom, getting to play with elementary school kids in PALS, finishing top 5% in my class, and all of the other perks of being a senior, and it was an amazing year.

Both my senior year of HS and my last 2 semesters of college (I had 1.5 senior years) were by far my favorites. Runner up would be my freshman year of HS.

Good times... I'd say middle school was better though. Puberty was a b****, but god bless this whole girls grow faster than boys thing... Nevermind i just remembered all the embarrassing moments of puberty... yeah kindergarten is the best (except for the whole 9 pm sleeping curfew thing).

Since you’re calling on us 'older people'......

Kindergarten........I had a crush on my teacher and she made the class fun. When I went home, I felt guilty that another woman made me feel this way. I felt dirty.

i would go with junior year in high school, i had just gotten my license, my friends had theirs so it was the first year we could all kind of go out and be on our own. i had a lot of friends that were in the grade above me and i had a lot of friends in the grade below. plus i had awesome teachers except my spanish teacher who i didnt like but it was the only class i had with one of my closest friends that year so we really had a blast in that class.

Sophomore year, high school. Dated the hot senior cheerleader captain. My friends semi-joked that I would get jumped one day because the popular senior guys were pining for her. Fortunately it never happened. That was one dramatic year. But very good overall for me. ;)

first of all, don't call us "older people." you can call us "mature and wise people." ;)

6th grade was fun just with my group of friends...we still talk about those days! def senior year was great too with driving around, hanging out til late in the morning, basically not attending class the second semester once i got my UT acceptance letter...it was great! 10th grade wasn't bad for me either tho.

far and away tho was the year i turned 21. i love austin for that!!

<sigh> i'll be 30 in a few mths and i guess i'll have new things to look forward to. life does keep getting better but enjoy the moment you're in now...you can never go back. that's my advice for you kids. ;)

Life is pretty simple in freshman/sophomore year. No worries about grades or rank or SATs, and since you couldnt drive yet all you could do after school was play basketball until it got dark.
