be full of friendship and happyness with the new Center. He will surprise them on ALL fronts..Ability, Agility, Strength and Team Spirit. Besides he can put it in the basket .

realize CD and folks knew what they were doing after all and thank God they didn't use the #1 in a trade for Odom(as they suggested) but rather that Odom was obtained through another trade instead!:D :p

I could give a rat's AZZ as to what those two think about the upcoming pick! DON'T get me wrong, I love those two as players BUT I don't care about their "aspirations" to be the GM! They BOTH are/will be paid very well to play ball and play ball only! So SHUT UP and just play ball! btw, NO, I DON'T advocate trading either one! I think that they'll quickly adapt their game w/Ming's and things will turn out fine! JMO...

Wow. My thoughts exactly. I love Steve and Cat too but have no interest in their GM abilities, just their on court abilities.

If they have good/great careers, then maybe they can take the role of GM with a team.

We just have to play it like FANS and let it all happen! Lets not jump to too many conclusions, just let Team Chemistry develop and see what happens!

Not only will Cat and Steve love their big man when they get a chance to play with him, but they will also love the extra attention Yao brings to the team. It should be fun.

two choice Rudy can make for Yao:

    1) play inside, physical denfense, Ming will get foul troubles, lots of turnover. The team need more patience.

    2) jump shooter, play mainly on offense, Ming will flash several times. He need support from skeptical guards.

A long way to go. I bet cat and steve won't have so much patience.

Redao a slight indication of Anti Ming feeling still showing in your thread! Give him a chance to show what he's got!

When the wistle blows and the game starts, Stevie and Cat will treat Ming just like every other player... and not pass him the ball.

Oh the first time I really need a smiley face, and there are none to be had. My kingdom for a sarcastic smiley face. (approximately fair trade by the way)

.... love playing with him when they see how many back door cuts, and open lanes to the basket they will have.

I wasn't a huge Ming supporter at the start, but if this guy can do what the Dream did the second part of his last year with the Rockets , then I'm satisfied.

Hey shouldn't some of you people be on the Jim Rome show or something you are so negative. I think that they will become appreciative of the fact that management went out and got them the best Center that they possibly could. And Ming by the way is one of the only Centers who will complement them. And by the way Odom can't shoot worth a lick he's like 19% from 3 and has no actual game never mind that he averages less rebounds that Steve, a lower FG% than anyone on the Rockets, and is actually slow but versatile that's not what we need. For what only to max him out and regret it later. Yeah, actually you're right that's what we need. You guys are the same ones that knock Steve and Cat all year long even though they are the only reason that we were competitive at all.

    No one can be anti-Ming?

Seriously, you have to have some skeptical people to actually have a balance. Not everyone will agree with the sunny side of things.
