Every time there is a decision made aginst a player or a coach, the ROX organization, makes some GOST reasons, behind the whole story. When will we ever hear in the news the reality behind why a player is in the Coach's doghouse or why the X coach was fired or let go? Is Luther Injured? when was he injured. When did Bonzi have a foot injury? and after missing more than 20 games when is he due back? Yao's only way to get back in shape was to get back ASAP on the court, Bonzi had to go get in shape off the court when the team is in need for him. Tmac, if the play is not called for him, he would'nt attempt to do anything just stand there and watch, never lifting a friend from the floor when down, never asked to have a killer mentality, when he is the one that needs it the most. So much Bureaucracy surrounding this team and it starts with the coaching staff that is made with X New York players with no fellings for this City and its fans. "WIN NOW" will never happen if we do not think about winning tomorrow and getting some unexpected help from tomorrows guys.
I agree, i don't understand why so many mysterious "injuries" happen to us, and why doesn't the organization help SOLVE some problems and not just let it keep going. Bonzi wants the contract and he wants to play, JVG can't just work something out? He knows Bonzi can help.
i dont know why luther would be in jvg's doghouse but it does seem fishy now that u mention it. did anyone see luther on the bench in a suit? i thought all injured players would still be with the team.
I thought Luther head was hurt in the Bucks game on Monday? He did play on Wednesday's game against the Clippers he played 12 minutes and was 0-1 in the game.
iremember seeing luther mess with his shoulder on a drive in the milwuake game. I just recently had a shoulder injury and it rly sucks.
I was wondering the exact same thing. I never saw Luther get hurt, and even if he were, shouldn't he at least be on the bench? These past 2 games, we have shot horribly from beyond the arc without him. We need you, Luther!!!
I don't know about Luther, but JVG puts too many people in the doghouse. He needs to get over his Napoleonic tendencies....it is really costing the Rockets any chance of playoff success. DD
right, but with Bonzi's last exit, I heard on the Radio from a ROX fan that Bonzi left with 2 minutes left on the clock and he was very upset and then two days later we hear that he has a foot injury, and he is yet to return. I think Bonzi has been told that he is released but they would not officiallydo it becasue a team like DAllas would pick him up.
Bonzi they told the truth JVG doesn't want him to play he'd rather play Snyder. I believe Luther is injured for real.
The facts. Luther has an injury. Bonzi is done. He was fat and so out of shape that he was risking injury. He is still fat and out of shape so Van Gundy has booted him. Pretty obvious. And I don't know why the Yao situation even came up. He had to play to get in game shape. The sooner the better.

This crap is so predictable after a loss, check your emotions for a minute and gather some reasonable thoughts before you post a thread. All teams in all sports hold their cards close to the vest, the reason?, the media! Any soundbite or tidbit that gets let out and it becomes a feeding frenzy and nobody wantst that.
I am talking about WARD and EWING, why were they chosen to be assistant head coaches versus anyone else especially when they have no experience coaching. I hear about Hakeem in Houston every summer coaching Elton Brand, and other players, why is n't he doing so for Houston players??
Geez, Ewing is gone now and if Hakeem was interested in working for the Rockets, he'd be there already. He is not a fulltime coach. He works with some guys in the summer. He's not interested in working harder than that. They had an article in the Chron the other day that Luther hurt his shoulder at the end of the Mil game. He's not in anyone's doghouse; he's a key rotation player. He needs to be fully healed before the playoffs. Bonzi is not injured. He's out of the rotation. For the sake of the players' reputations and egos, teams will usually assign a phantom injury to explain why a supposed-rotation-guy is not in the rotation. In this case, Bonzi disavowed his phantom injury himself. The team plays better with Snyder than it does with Bonzi, so Bonzi doesn't play. That's it. There's no mystery or deceit there. In fact, there is less deceit in the current Rockets situation than there is for your average NBA team. I don't know what you're complaining about.

Hakeem doesnt owe this city or this team anything, he's given us all he can give... 3. what do Ward and Ewing have to do with the 2006-2007 Rockets? the answer is absolutely nothing...

Elton Brand was also with him in the LifeTime Fitness in Sugar Land. I am not asking Hakeem to give, but rather asking the ROX to ask. My frustration is that the ROX when they hire a coach they let him take control of everything even if he is doing a bad job. Ward and Ewing had no business coaching a big team like the ROX becasue they do not have the experience, and I bet you anything that they won't be hire d as head coaches anytime soon, unlike the SUNS assistant coaches. What happened to the organization that did not want players with bad rep on its roster? why hire Ewing with all the strippers clubs stories attached to him? JVG is such a Hypocrate
