First off, this thread isn't to bash Adelman at all. I've notice over the past two games that Adelman has been reluctant to put in Martin. It seems Adelman is trying to do two things. 1. Give Martin time to get comfortable and be able to learn some of their defensive schemes. 2. Decide who (Battier or Ariza) is a better fit along side with Martin. It's clear that one of these guys are heading to the bench. I wanted post a few comments off of Jonathan Feigen's blog. So with all this said, when do you think Adelman puts Martin in the starting SG spot? Or do you even think it's going to happen this year?
Ariza has actually been playing pretty good as of late. I still get too nervous when I see him dribble the ball. I think both Battier and Ariza would benefit from Martin because he'll be able to get them an open 3.
Here here..! and we'll probably see some more changes in the lineup after this game. More experiments will be made.
I'd like to see Hill get some PT so we can find out if he's got game or not. Hopefully with these 2 practice days he'll be able to see the floor.
I could also see Adelman having Battier start at the PF position to guard Lewis. It's going to be a tough match for Houston because of Dwight. Armstrong should probably see some minutes against Howard.
