When Rockets won 22 games in a row, Tmac was there!

I didn't want to start a new thread for this Tmac thing, but I really would like to remind all of us that Tmac was playing well when the Rockets won 22 in a row. First 10 of 22 games they've won was with Yao, but last 12 of 22 was without Yao, so how did they win 12 games?! Because they were playing at a faster pace basketball, it's just like the style we've been playing this season, so my question to coach RA is that what makes him think that Tmac won't fit in this style of play????

If you will recall TMac came back from injury just as the streak was starting (I believe he missed the 1st win) and the Rockets were already playing really well. TMac tried to just blend into the offense but as time went on the offense deferred more and more to TMac and stopped playing team ball. The win streak finally ended and the Rockets suffered through another 1 and done in the play-offs.

Last year we did not win 22 in a row but we did win a play-off series and took the Lakers to 7 games in the 2nd round... with out TMac. I prefer last season over the 22 game win streak.

I would also like to remind you that Rafer Alston played pretty well during that win streak but I hope none of us are screaming to get Rafer back.

This is a "what have you done for me lately" city. 22 game win streak is in the past. Didn't you see how people just walked out the building before the Celtics game was over? Not to mention that everyone hopped off the bandwagon after that loss.

Deep, heavy, long, drawn out, defeated-"sigh". Wheres that guy that suggested merging all the Tmac threads? That fella's going places.

I think their defense wasn't as good as it has been was because that they had to spend much more energy and efforts on the offense ends due to lack of the offense weapons(besides Aaron Brooks, nobody could really create its own shots or shots for others).

There is another thing I'd like to see that is when Tmac comes back, will this defense get better?

That is a great idea. Instead of 10 T-Mac threads, we can have one sticky at top where people can go all out.

Yao was there for roughly half, and TMac the last half...

They really looked good in the couple games that both Tmac and Yao played...

But, which one would you rather have back now?

All of this misguided T-Mac knob slobbing is really putting a damper on the GARM.
