From the Houston Chronicle: Rockets president George Postolos offered a subtle reminder about how much the Rockets want to host All-Star Weekend in 2006 or 2007. There had been speculation around the All-Star events -- especially Saturday's ceremony to announce that the Rockets and Kings would play preseason games in China -- that Houston would land the All-Star Game in 2006. Denver will host the event next season. "We always want to make sure they realize the strength of our interest in hosting the All-Star Weekend," Postolos said. "The focus here is on the weekend and running the event. But we get to witness the incredible payoff, the way the focus is on the franchise and its history. You get to show off an incredible building, the way downtown works. We look forward to getting the same opportunity to do those things in Houston."
Do you mean hopefully they will still be Houston Rockets all star players by that time? I think some posters on this board do not think so.
Do you want to elaborate more about this? You left us hanging... Whatever it is that you know, I hope it's not true.
i rather have in 2011. That's when we get the final four in early april. Maybe we can get the Super Bowl then too.
There are countless 'trade&swop thread' rumours fleeing hither and thither on this board. Good God! Don't tell me you believe some rumours and let them practice on your credulity.
