I purposely did not say "diaries" because I'm not a girl.

I just busted out a box of very old journals...lol...I don't remember writing that...

    so..

    Post your long lost writings...

I'm calling out rimbaud, Another Brother, Jeff and CBFC...(and achebe) on this. Batman Jones doesn't really count since if he doesn't offer up something, I will post his poems from HSPVA books that I have. moestavern19 doesn't really count either unless he post something from when he forgot.

Here's mine...I have no idea what I'm saying. I assume I just did a big bong hit by myself.

I never woke up in the morning and thought, "I wish I'd done cocaine last night."

Today I actually came across a scrap book I kept when I was 9-12 years old, and it had a lot of interesting clippings I had forgotten about. Things like the Cougars loss to the U back in the day, and some stuff from the 92 Olympics. Pretty cool to look back on.

HA! I just found a section from a "friend" who, apparently, found my (then) current book and wrote 5 pages about her new scultpture and left her picture in my book. Since she did it upside down from the back of my book, and I just now found the picture, I think I should fb her....lol. "Hey, Monique, Accept my Friend Request, because remember this photo you put in my journal." I'm so tempted to do that.

I recall having to post an entry in a journal every day my senior year of high school. I recall it had a lot of entries where I'd been drinking...

A while back I ran into old journals that I kept through high school, from creative writing and English classes. I was surprised at how creative I was back then, despite the grammar and structure being all over the place. I'm far less creative now and my grammar and structure are still all over the place :(

I did for a while. I wrote for about 2-3 sentences and I'd forget about what I was writing about so I just made up crazy **** to go along with it. Then I got lazy and quit. What sucks about it is that dream journals cannot work if you procrastinate. You wait a minute and it'll be gone by the time you pick up a pen (or open up Word).

An ex-gf gave me her journal as an anniversary present once, since she wrote a lot about me in it. Kind of cool.
