Barry is fit to play, but JVG said he just can't think of which big man to make inactive in order to make room for Barry, so Barry may stay inactive. I think the same goes for DA. Sura is expected back after the all-star break. I'll try to find links to this info later tonight.
that sounds hoakie---fit to play but cant take out a big man--lets see....lonny baxter's better than average minutes every once in a while or a shooter that spreads the defense---I'll go with JB not LB
How about we just give RB a nice rest for him to recover from whatever it is that is holding him back
What is the deal with Anderson? Some non-descript calf injury keeping him out half the season? I haven't seen or heard a decent explanation yet. Did he break a bone or tear cartiledge or tendons???? What's the deal?
Well he is pretty injury prone. We all knew that. But yeah, his injury should be good to go by NOW right???
Derek Anderson is coming back wednesday night vs the Lakers so thats a huge pickup for the Rockets. Go Rockets!!!
If Van Gundy doesn't want to deactivate a big man for Barry, I sure hope he's not going to for Anderson. Barry is much more valuable to this team...so I'd hope he'd get on the active roster before Anderson does.
anderson seemed out of shape when the season started so maybe they are giving him time to get in shape because we need his size more than anything else.
I could be wrong. But other than 1st game of the season, JB hasn't done much for Rockets. I know he has been injured and all, but there's no gurantee he can repeat last season's production. On the other hand, DA was doing well before the injury. I said it many times: this guy knows how to draw fouls and he shoot a lot of FTs with high percentage (>80%), he can back Tmac up on offensive end and he wasn't bad on defensive end.
i wonder how many minutes sura will get when he comes back. alston is rockets' primary point guard. at shooting, there are wesley and anderson. so where does sura fit in?
