    Media Day is the 24th. Training camp starts on the 25th.

    don't preseason games start early oct? i wanna say the first reg season game is like the 24th or 26th, soooo close!!

    first preseason game is Oct 4th or 5th in Rio Grande, then 3 home games in Houston, 7th/9th/10th, then off to China for the following week

    Rockets/Nets and a few other teams start their camp on the 25th because they are having preseason games overseas, while the rest of the teams start the following week

    Usually the Thurs after the AllStar break which this season its going to be 3rd Sunday this season.
